SEPTEMBER- CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

September being the month of Childhood Cancer Awareness, “LIONS HOPE- Pediatric Cancer Project” in association with Chavaramatrimony.com organized an event on September 22, 2021 at 11 am at Chavara Cultural Centre, Kochi. Pediatric Cancer Patients with Academic Excellence were honoured on the occasion with Momento & Cash Award. Executive Director of Chavaramatrimony and the District Secretary of HOPE - Childhood Cancer Project, Lion Johnson C. Abraham MJF welcomed the gathering. The function was inaugurated by Justice J.B. Koshy, Chairman-Commission of Christian Minorities (Kerala State) & Chief Justice of Patna. Lion CA.V.C. James PMJF was the president of meeting. The event was blessed by the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Thomas Puthussery CMI, Director, Chavara Cultural Centre. The Full A+ Winners were Fina Rose V.G, Abhishek P.S and Surumi A.N (7 A+). In response to the awards, Mr. Glancy V.A father of Fina Rose voiced his feelings and joy very emotionally and thanks all for the support and encouragement. An Awareness Session for families of Cancer affected Children was also arranged. All attendees were gifted with Corona Hygiene Kits. The Children and families were glad to attend the gathering and enjoyed each moment and lunch.
